Molly's Capture the Flag contents

I have been collecting bits and pieces of Molly's Capture the Flag set in hopes of trying to get complete set. I think I am really close. Does someone here have the original set and can tell me exactly what is in it? Namely I am looking for what creepy crawlies were in the can - worms and what and how many of each one. And did the bean can have a lid or not? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I also am curious about this set. I loved reading about the flag capture in "Molly Saves the Day".

I don't have Molly, but I do have a catalog from 1992 and I'm looking at Molly's summer story acc. and for the set you want, it consisted of the blue armband, flag, whistle, canoe paddle, letter to Dad, picture, and the can of "creepy crawlers". In the picture, the can has no lid, and there are 3 worms, 2 crickets, 5 black ants and 2 red ants. I hope this helps you a little bit! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well this makes no sense. I have 4 worms - can't imagine that they bought more worms......but I suppose maybe they did. Does anyone else have this set? Do you have exactly what was in the catalog picture? I know I need to find some ants now though [img]frown.gif[/img]

Bonnie I wish I could help you. I got the set in a lot I won on ebay in December, but it was missing the bugs as well. The picture that I have shows the set with 4 worms, 3 brown ants, 2 grasshoppers, and two black unidentifyable bugs. I was thinking about just going to the hobby store and getting my own bugs to match the set. Good luck!

I ended up emailing customer service on this. The creepy crawlers in the set were 5 worms, 3 crickets, 2 red ants, and 2 black ants. Unfortunately that means I have several creepy crawlers to track down [img]frown.gif[/img] At least though I know what I am looking for.
